At one point, we heard a patient’s tale of terror—he had noticed a bit of pain in the back, left side of his mouth. No big deal, right? People get toothaches for a number of different reasons and sometimes they just go away. Unfortunately for our patient, that wasn’t the case this time.
After a solid day of pain, Orajel, and ice (and one sleepless night), he decided that the discomfort was too great to bear. He began his search for a dentist. A couple of phone calls later, and he wasn’t any closer to finding someone to soothe the pain. One dental clinic simply never answered the phone or called back. Another quoted an outrageous price that left our patient considering having the tooth pulled.
People shouldn’t have to try so hard to find a dentist who will take care of them!
